Yoga and Meditation
Yoga is an ancient practice which has been preserved and passed through generations in India. Now Yoga is available in the west and it has become very popular due to its health and psychological benefits. The one who practices yoga finds himself immediately more peaceful, happier and joyful. Yoga helps us deal with everyday life challenges, so we can live a happy and healthy life.
At Vaimukta Yoga we practice therapeutic yoga for those whom need to heal and relax, & dynamic yoga for those who enjoy a strong exciting practice.
Meditation is an excellent way to quiet the mind so we can live a healthier and happier life, liberating us from unhealthy mental habits and emotions. To do so, we use different techniques which quieten the mind and let us observe the inner space within us, the Chid akasha: Sat Chit Ananda, which is that all pervading bliss, love and truth which lies within us. When we are able to find this bliss, we stop looking for that happiness outside, we realize that everything we were looking for is inside our own self.
At Vaimukta Yoga we practice different techniques of meditation, based on Vedanta philosophy, Mahayana Buddhist philosophy and different healing meditations.

I have only good words to say about Vaimukta yoga teachers. Jyoti is a teacher with a vast experience, she has been close to great teachers in India and you can see that she lives and teaches the philosophy just as she has learned it.
